TWC 2018
« on: 01/02/18, 03:41 AM »
Hey dudes. How's everyone been? Anyone played anything new and exciting?

I put like 300 hours into Grim Dawn, game's a blast and goes on sale a ton. Kingdoms of Amalur was good too, like a single player WoW. Like 100 hours of just questing and shit. Also played Hob, Bastion, and Transistor.

I'm back to raiding in WoW, but am Alliance (ew) on Whisperwind. Played a lot of Overwatch lately, go figure that it's easier when you have a big ass monitor and better PC.

Mostly Destiny 2 with some work friends, but also various games picked up on Steam sales over the years.

Sometimes I feel like I want to raid again...but then I remember the headache of herding the cats!

How long's it been since you raided without herding, Mina? Might be fun if you can get into it without all the other stuff attached.

Been trying to sell my account for a while. Lots of Switch. Lost up to 80 lbs now since last Jan. Bought a house.

It has been a long time (around Cata or so).  You may be right, but I am not sure I could sign up for a rigid raiding schedule given the amount of travel I do.

Lots of PC stuff (mostly Destiny 2), and lots console stuff; Switch, XB1X, just got a PS4 Pro too.

WoW is just doing garrison missions and logging off. I've still yet to try LFR or any of the new stuff at all.

Congrats Alt! Hope everyone else is doing just as well.

I've been thinking of raiding again, or at least playing through the game for the lore and shit. Still on the fence. Had a contract end abruptly so back on the job hunt which does cut into potential time to play more than a phone game. Had a possible thing with Amex but that looks like it might not pan out.

Also found a new girlfriend, moved twice, separated (divorce finalized this month hopefully), writing a book, got heavily back into aquarium keeping, teaching myself piano, and transitioning MtF. Gotta keep busy.

Well, I turned 60 last year.  I've had cataract surgery (yay!), it's amazing what they can do now.  I (rarely) play alliance side, and have started doing "fluffy" campaign-style Starcraft2.  I'm building up my model railroad habit, and I still work for Apple.

I ran across the TWC "defining moments" thread and re-re-re-read the Anduran bits.  And just lost it.
