It hasn't been officially announced yeat (the tier set) so I wouldn't be so quick to call it gay. Also: the crows buff is not enough. they have to figure something else out.

Sims are obviously not perfect, but they do give a general representation of where classes stand (or should stand) in the meters, which is generally middle of the pack for hunters, always has been.

According to femaledwarf, I sim 1500 dps lower on the PTR.

Fucking around on PTR. The set bonuses are actually really awesome.

The 2 piece makes up for the lack of double rapidfire on pull, you get way more rapid fire's per fight this way than we ever did with readiness. Maybe less burst at start of fight, but probably higher output from rapid fire over the course of a fight. Paired with the cooldown trinket, makes it really awesome.

4 piece, at least on PTR, doesn't have an ICD or limit, as far as I can see. I've gotten 5 explosive shots in a row from lock and load + the 6th one after LnL was down. (edit: just got 8 in a row + was going to get 9th one after LnL was down, but LnL procced again and I got 4 + 5th after LnL, so 13 explosives in a row.. jesus)

As far as the CD trinket, the abilities it affects are:
Black Arrow (17.3 sec, down from 24)
Stampede (3.6 minutes, down from 5)
Rapid Fire(2.16 minutes, down from 3)
Disengage (7.19 sec, down from 10 sec [with CTHD])
Feign Death (21.6 sec, down from 30 sec)
Camoflauge (43.2 sec, down from 1 min)

Camoflauge obviously won't help much in pve, but all the other ones are amazing.

Black arrow 100% uptime with this trinket, rapid fire's constantly with trinket+2pc, amazing mobility with disengage every 7 seconds.

Not to mention the trinket has an ICD agi proc on it instead of an rppm one. I'm no theorycrafter but the trinket is pretty awesome.

The percentage of cooldown reduction also increases by 2% per upgrade, all those cd's were the base normal mode unupgraded trinket.

The multistrike trinket was meh, the multistrike proc only did about 3% of my damage over about 3 minutes, and the proc is RPPM.

Cleave trinket is obviously situational, but with all the council/add fights in T16 it may be beneficial, also has an ICD agi proc which is nice instead of fucking shit ass rppm.

Meh static agi/mastery proc probably going to be pretty good compared to the random proc ones, but wish it was the other way around.

Reverse renataki is alright, more luck based than the renataki was but when you get a 6+ explosive streak in a row and it procs its pretty nice.

Which speaking of renataki, not sure if it's in the notes but it's been nerfed to only stack once a second for 10 seconds. So should probably look to replace it.

tl;dr: still hate that readiness was removed, but set bonuses and cooldown trinket makes class fun to play still. gonna be shit until get those though.
