It sounds like he's enjoying himself at first. Then he quickly gives up, runs into a corner, and cries.

Yup.

This link seems to solve all our monk inferno soloing problems.

Even zombie bears think this about that idea:

You want to burst them instead of having to stack DP via FoK with Ass!

IMPOSSIBRUUUU

Although it would take quite a long time to clear acts with his build. He's like a pom pyro mage without vision quest and relying on BBV for mana regen

I like how every melee we had rerolled range and all of you retards that started out as range somehow went melee. GLHF~

I'm still maining on my monk, but there are worse fates than voluntarily rerolling a ranged char--you could lose 175 hours worth of a hardcore 60 Inferno barbarian by alt-tabbing out to ask people if your sound levels were set right. <_<

Definite props to Kungen for handling it as well as he did, though.

Exactly what Fax said. He alt-tabbed to check a speaker without pausing, and got wrecked by a monster in-game when he thought he was safe.

Actually, what landed the killing blow was the fire flaring out of the grate he was standing on (mind you, the bats chewing on him didn't help either).  Ironic that such a top raider died by standing in the fire. =D

Just playing one because I hate my level 60.

I'm just done, till they tweak inferno.

I killed Magda in Act 2 earlier today, and I looked back and realized I literally spent more time waiting for the revive button to pop than I did actually playing. This is with gear that's on par or better than what drops in act 2, so going back to farm act 1 won't help me at all.

Funny, how it almost feels like this is designed to drive players to the RMTAH, isn't it...

The game is absolutely designed around ppl trading/selling/bartering that hard to find item which is actually worth using.  Inferno is just the extreme of that design.

I wonder how the first 2 weeks of the game would have gone had there not been a number of heavily exploited loot dispensers.

Why farm 2,000,000 gold for a buyout when you can just pay $10 for a quick item?

I still get frustrated, but am actually having fun in Inferno trying out different specs.  Probably because I haven't had solid blocks of time to really do much of anything else toward progression.  Also probably because I'm playing a wizard, which I decided on before playing at all the night before the game came out because it looked to be a more challenging class on paper.  Oh well.

fun in Inferno

There is like, one spec for Demon Hunter that works. So much for Blizzard trying to get away from cookie cutter bs.

Phew, Inferno Act I down with the monk...was rolling pretty well through the act until I hit the Butcher and had to respec everything to (barely) beat the enrage timer (and he came DAMN close to splattering me the once as a result).  WTB survivability AND deeps, Blizzard (preferably for less than 9 million gold, because I never get drops that sell for shit). =P

Act 1 is pretty doable in Act IV hell gear (once you get an act 3-4 weapon, things aren't SO bad in Act I((lol)). I was farming butcher with 5 stacks last week for like 2 hours, but nothing good dropped. As I've said to Aubrum and Rad and a few others, and it seems to be the situation Nix has found himself in -I just don't see it worth it to bother with Inferno until they patch it. I'm just leveling a barb 4 fun time. No char I level I intend to do Inferno with, because knowing Blizzard I don't honestly 100% expect I'll EVER do Inferno.

As much as I don't personally enjoy League of Legends, at least Riot knows how to acknowledge and fix their shit in a timely fashion. We're lucky if Blizzard even acknowledges a problem, fixing it takes far more financial incentive (ie an expansion).

It's ok.

The "player-made" Act 2 Inferno Booster Pack™ auctions - just $14.99, this weekend only, on the RMTAH® - will fix it soon!
