Workout Mix
« on: 04/26/12, 06:12 AM »
Just finished my extreme workout mix of doom - a collection of pump-you-up tracks taken from movies, games and music guaranteed to add 10,000 lbs of muscle. Track list is as follows:

--Movies/TV--
America, Fuck Yeah (Team America)
Gaston (Beauty and the Beast)
Haruka Kanata (Naturo)
I'll Make a Man Out of You (Mulan)
I am Man (Burger King)
Men in Tights (Robin Hood: Men in Tights)
Rocky IV Training Montage (with Rocky and Drago grunting sound effects)
Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny (Lemon Demon)

--Video Games--
Blue Blast - Winning the Rainbow (The Black Mages)
Boss Battle (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Daniel Tidwell)
Final Fantasy - LP of D (Duane and Brando)
The Moon (Ducktales, Daniel Tidwell)
Phoenix Project - Kaeru's Theme (Frog's Theme) (Chrono Trigger)
A Story of True Victory - Punch Out!! (Descendants of Erdrick)
Fighting of the Spirit - S.S.H. Version (Tales of Symphonia)
Valstein Castle (Ys: The Oath in Felghana)

--Music--
Battle of New Orleans - Live (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band)
Be a Man (Randy Savage)
Beat It (Michael Jackson)
Boys of Summer (Ataris)
Hands Down (Dashboard Confessional)
I go to Extremes (Billy Joel)
Lose Yourself (Eminem)
Monkey Wrench (Foo Fighters)
Moskau - long version (Dschinghis Khan)
Mr. Brightside (The Killers)

Live - Hold Me Up

Also, every song by System of a Down.

The Live song doesn't necessarily make jack you up for lifting, but it does make you wanna fuck, which should make you want to look good naked, which is basically the same thing.

Nothing. I might have Bitches by Mindless Self Indulgence playing in my head sometimes though.

I don't like wearing headphones while I lift.

Also, >mfw all the bros wearing their $300 Beats by Dre headphones, who are undoubtedly listening to shitty 92 kbps rips

This makes a lot of sense to me.

Disturbed is often pretty sufficient workout music to me.

Also, if you're gonna use something from ...

It's Murray the Demonic Skull from Monkey Island 3. See dialogue in signature for more context.

Murray is honestly one of the best minor characters I can remember in any video game I played.

- You're about as fearsome as a doorstop.
- Is it a really EVIL-looking doorstop?
- *sigh* Nevermind...
